Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS), a statutory body under the administrative control of Ministry of Consumer Affairs, Public Distribution and Food, Government of India is the National Standards Body of India and is responsible for activities in the Standardization, System Certification and Product , Hallmarking of Silver/Gold Jewellery , Laboratory Testing etc. in all over the country.

Educational Qualification :
i) Assistant Director(Finance and Administration ) :
Chartered Accountant/Cost and Works Accountant/Subordinate Accounts Service (SAS) Accountant/Master of Business Administration (MBA) (with finance specialization) with three years experience; Master of Business Administration (MBA) (with specialization in Personnel)/Post Graduate Diploma in Personnel Management / Human Resource Management of two years ’ duration from reputed institute/L.L.B with three years’ experience.
ii) Assistant Director(Public Relations) : Post Graduate Degree/Diploma in Journalism/Public Relations/Advertising/Marketing, with atleast two years’ professional experience in a reputed organization in Public Relations/Publicity/Advertising/Scientific Journalism.
Age Limit : Maximum age limit for this recruitment is 30 years.
Pay Scale : Rs. 15600-39100; Grade Pay : 5400/-
